The inflammatory response and acid induced lesions inside the gastrointestinal tract mainly in the stomach and duodenum is known as peptic ulcer disease.

Peptic ulcer is a now a common chronic mucosal lining disorder due to over secretion of pepsin or hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Peptic ulcer is presented with bloating, nausea, gastric pain, abdominal pain and tenderness in most cases.  Bacterial infection by Helicobacter pylori (HP or H. pylori)

 Untreated Hyperacidity or Burning pain in stomach
 Disturbed Tridhosham or Metabolic disturbances
 Interminable Emotional uproar
 Uninterrupted mental stress and anxiety.

A Study shows that the risk of peptic ulcer complications is increased 4 fold in patients who took NSAID and two fold in blood thinners (aspirin) regular users, published in Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, 2015.
